Where Will You Be?Motivation to lose weight

Two months from now, 6 months, a year from now, will you be a  healthier, stronger you? Or will you be in the same, stagnant, non progressing position? Make the commitment that starting today, starting now you will change your life. You will make the changes necessary to accomplish your goals. Don’t put it off. You’ve put it off long enough. A month will go by either way. Time continues, make the best of it. Do it today.

Goals

First, do you have goals? If so what are they? What has been your track record with goals? Have you been able to set and accomplish your goals? If not, I highly recommend you using this as a strategy to achieve what you want. The truth is, if you are just ‘ho-hum’ about something that you’d like to accomplish, or even if you are ‘gung-ho’ about it, but haven’t clearly defined what your goals are and how you are going to accomplish them, then one of two things will happen. 1) You won’t get there period. 2) You may get there, but it will take you much longer.

So trust me when I say that goals are an extremely important part of a body transformation.

Nutrition Plan

Do you have one? You may think, ‘Well, why do I need one, I’ll just eat less food’. Ha. I guarantee that isn’t going to work. That would be like somebody setting out on a long journey across the country trying to get to a specific destination, and nBest Nutrition Planot using a map, not using a GPS, not following road signs, etc. Don’t even try and start a fat loss program without having a solid nutrition plan in place. That is the foundation, you absolutely have to have one.

Resistance Program

What are you doing as far as weights? Do you have a solid program in place? If you are a beginner, I highly recommend a program that relies on compound exercises. Examples of these would be the squat, overhead press, bench press, pullup, pushup, etc. These are great movements that I use in my programs every week both in my own workouts and when training clients. You truly get the most bang for your buck with exercises such as these because they use so many muscles, and as a result burn more calories.

Summary

At the beginning of the year you can be fatter and unhealthy, or you can be leaner and healthier. It isn’t rocket science. You either do it or you don’t. If you have any inkling that you are finally going to change your life and finally going to lose that extra weight you’ve been carrying around, then start now. Don’t put it off until January 1st. If you do, you will lose any motivation that you have now, you will most likely gain weight through the holidays, and you will become unhealthier. Start now and you will be 8 weeks ahead of all those ‘New Years Resolution exercisers. Start today to building a better, healthier, more attractive you. Don’t let anything get in your way. Do it, do it, do it.
