You see, you can. Everybody can. In case you haven’t read my story, I am nothing special. I don’t have any super talents when it comes to losing fat or building muscle. I wasn’t blessed with awesome genetics, quite the contrary. I don’t have unbelievable self control or willpower, well I didn’t have it to begin with. I’m not the fastest, the strongest, the most agile, the most coordinated, the richest, etc. None of that. I’m just an ordinary person who has decided: I will get fit. I will lose fat. I will build muscle. I will push my body to the limits. I will keep going when the going gets tough. I will push through the pain. I will keep going when others quit. I will put off temporary comfort or temporary enjoyment so I can obtain my long term goal.
You see, its all a matter of keeping things in perspective. Its about being disciplined and sacrificing a few fleeting moments of enjoyment for what you want in the long run.
Nobody lost fat, and got the body they want by skipping their workouts and not following their diet. This above everything else is key, to have a plan and follow it religiously. Just keep everything in perspective, do a little better today than yesterday, take things one day at a time, one meal at a time, one workout at a time.
